When Monster.com relocated to their new headquarters, one of the most prominent building features was the large atrium space with a 30-foot ceiling off the reception lobby. To promote what Monster does for their clients they wanted to build a large scale dynamic video display for this space. They came up with a concept design that included a banner running around the wall that led to a central large monitor with an ‘x’ design leading to four monitors at each end. They asked WSP, one of the world’s leading professional services firms, to aid them in the build. The challenge was to finish within five weeks in order to present the system to Monster’s Board of Directors.
WSP brought Monster to VideoSonic in NYC to showcase some LED displays. VideoSonic assured that they could get the displays shipped from China by the time of installation, a task that many in the industry would call a miracle.
The project was finished on time and the Board of Directors was very impressed. Today, Monster utilizes the system to showcase user success stories, track social media, exhibit company goals and values, and greet and present to guests visiting the building. The system stands as a testament to what can be done, and how quickly it can be done, when distributors, integrators, and end users work as a team on a project.

Videosonic recently completed a major new presentation and videoconferencing installation for the Davis Lecture Hall in the HESS Center for Science and Medicine at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City.
The three-room installation included identical lecterns with environmental controls and the capability to show presentations, videoconference and send presentations to other parts of the campus through the master control room.

You’d expect that working with one of the biggest companies in the world would mean a lack of control and a lot of polite nods as the client suggests ideas about how it wants its new A/V system to look.
That was quite the contrary for VideoSonic Systems, though, when the company was chosen to create a multi-purpose room for the asset management division of a Connecticut-based worldwide corporation that’s routinely at the top of the Fortune 500. The job earned the New York-based integrator the CI Solutions Award for corporate work.

When the Statue of Liberty re-opened to the public in 2003, visitors were welcomed with a new Wayfinding and Information Display Systems designed and installed by VideoSonic. Careful attention was made to assure that the new technology blended well with the historical interiors of this National monument. An example of that is the Lobby Information Display; the antique bronze monitor surround matches the existing 150 year old metalwork.
