Videosonic helps Statue of Liberty reopen after Hurricane Sandy

In 2013, after the ravages of Hurricane Sandy, Videosonic was on hand once again (our third installation project to date!) to help get Lady Liberty look her best for the grand re-opening to the public on the Fourth of July. We installed all new digital signage monitors in the Crown Cafe and Gift Shop and converted a library of related DVDs to run in perpetuity at various points of sale.

New York City Visitor Center

NYC Visitor Center

VideoSonic technology provides dynamic way finding at the newly opened official NYC Visitor’s Information Center. Interactive Tables use touch and object recognition allowing visitors to create an itinerary of places of interest, events and destinations using a Google Map interface. This customized guide book can be emailed, SMS text to a cell phone, or viewed as a printout. Visitors can preview their destinations as a real time Google Earth fly-through on a 4×4 High Definition Video Wall.
