New York University selected VideoSonic’s Smart Classroom design for the new Classroom Expansion project to begin this summer at their Bobst Library on campus. Driven by a strict design criteria and Green initiative, VideoSonic has designed a system that meets the performance specifications, budget restrictions, and energy conservation requirements set forth by NYU’s classroom planning team.

VideoSonic’s goal to deliver a robust system that provides the quality to withstand day to day use and is also economical relies on reducing the amount of equipment by using “hybrid” components such as the Crestron MPS System. By using MPS, VideoSonic is able to deliver AV Switching and Routing, Audio DSP Processing, Mixing and Amplification, and System Control in a single 2RU Component, greatly reducing cabling and installation labor.

Videosonic is proud to have been the vendor for multiple and continuing projects at NYU over the years.
